Fixed. Removed “hidden-xs” and “hidden-sm” class from nav and search divs. Still need to add some styling for smaller screen.

Added top margin and colored background to category link section.

I override buddypress css to solve the issue. The top margin was set to some negative numbers. I also move the position of the search button next the search textbox.

I changed the background-color little darker (#b99128 to #805918) to increase the legibility. Please let me know if that works for you.

The color for the link text is now changed to the “look at me yellow” and it will keep the same yellow color regardless of the status of the topic.
